’When did being being gay become a crime’ was made as part of the BBC’s ‘Gay Britannia’ season, a series of programmes made in 2017 which marked the 50th anniversary of The Sexual Offences Act 1967, which partially decriminalised gay sex. During this project I was tasked as the Senior Creative to come up with the concepts, style and direction for this piece. Working with the Animators & Illustrators to construct this short piece with a tight deadline and minimal budget. This is part of a BBC Radio 4 series Gay Britiannia.
